I have used Michael Chiarello's paella recipe many times in the past, but I never tried it with Italian sausage and bell peppers. I will give it a try. I must say on a recent trip Washington, DC I ate paella at Bodega in Georgetown and it was just so fantastic.

kilawinguwak: Oh, that's too bad! Well, at least you tried it first before making it in the dish! Bummer, I thought tuna chorizo (tunizo?) sounded very intriguing.... :)

cancel on the tuna chorizo. tried it on it's own, and the curing process wrecks the otherwise fresh taste of the tuna. it's even worse than the canned variety, so yeah. chorizo de bilbao it is. lol

kilawinguak: hmmm...i have never seen tuna chorizo before. I am intrigued! Sure, why not try it?! There's already some shrimp in there, so it would just add more seafood. Let me know how you like it! :)
