I made these on Saturday night, but used halibut that I had poached in beer instead of the shrimp, and used vegan mayo (I'm pescatarian, but don't eat any dairy) instead of the egg. Then instead of coating them in addition mustard, I used guacamole! SO good! I love all of your recipes!

What a great recipe! Next time I see shrimp on sale I am making these cakes. I too dislike the hot weather and it's always good to have more then a few meal ideas that will not heat up the kitchen.
Thanks,

"A little bit of awesome in a jar." I think I may have found my new favourite accolade. (Would work with sarcasm, too. Not that I would, of course.)
I have recently discovered "pink grapefruit marmalade" by a company called Stonewall Kitchens. Now i can call that a little bit of awesome -- on toast.
