I like the seated couple because it's less traditional and the girl has a prettier face. Also, since there is always SOMETHING at every wedding that does not go perfect, your cake topper falling off can be chalked up to a funny story. Better to have a little goof built in so as not to have a BIG disaster: like your wedding dress tearing half way down the aisle, exposing to your grandma and your preacher, that little baby blue thong ensemble that you got at the wedding shower (which, of course, will be video-recorded for later review). Uh, I hope that doesn't scare you--the wedding will go fine. It's simply another hoop to jump through before you make a great life together--which it looks like you've already begun to do (the way to a man's heart IS through his stomach.) Cheers!

Christy: Yeah, that's kind of what we are thinking. Maybe using the sitting ones on the cake and the standing ones on the table. Maybe to mark where we're sitting. Everyone else will have some sort of something marking their seats so maybe we'll use the bride and groom.

The standing woman is counting how many halibut cakes are left....

Those are both very cool. I like the one where they are sitting and he is leaning over to kiss her. The standing woman looks like she is leaning to look out and see how many people are at the reception :)
