Embien:

Thanks! :)

You should try this recipe...it's pretty easy and yields great results. IMBB stands for "Is My Blog Burning?" and it was a cooking event where bloggers posted recipes around a specific theme. Sadly, it seems to be no more.

The pictures of your roast chicken (and the ones at Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/jemangepdx/page13/
look so scrumptious I'm definitely going to try this recipe!

I confess that I mainly just get the roast chickens already prepared at Costco ($4.99) because they are pretty good and I'm pretty lazy. This recipe may cure me of my evil ways (even if I don't know what IMBB25 stands for).

This looks fabulous. We've often made stove top "stuffing" with stale bread to go with roast chicken but had never thought of using your method. Thank you for posting it.

I've used a Roasted Chicken recipe from The Frenchfarmhouse Cookbook by Susan Herrmann Loomis for years. It follows the same high heat technique and produces that same beautiful chicken. But, wow, the spinach bread salad sounds like it's really calling to me. I love bread salads and spinach is always in my fridge if not my garden. Your pictures are incredible! Love it.
