I made this dip the other day, and my boyfriend and I have been snacking on it since, with rice crackers and Wasa. Boiling the garlic does take the edge of it a little, but I like how the flavor is all throughout the dip. Great consistency even without any yogurt! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

It was pretty creamy (of course, I added 1 tbsp or so of yogurt!) Hmmm, I don't know if they were raw-raw -- they just weren't frozen. They were in the produce section and as far as I know, you can snack on them right out of the container.

Yep, the recipe said to boil the garlic too. Maybe to take the edge off? I dunno, I like my garlic with edge :)

i would think raw edamame would just be a bit more gassy, and not as creamy in dip. you really boil the garlic too?? i can't wait to make this as my family is all about dips too (clare eats hummus by the handful). the frozen ones may be precooked...???
