Again, with the anchovy paste, but I definitely think it added something good and salty to the mix. So, I am a new fan of the pepper/anchovy thing too, Alanna! Mmmm...capers sound like a great idea! I did something very similar with (lazy-day) frozen sweeet peppers from Trader Joe's, also adding capers. It was fabulous! I completely vouch for the pepper/anchovy combination.
